Employees of Wingham Beef Exports held peaceful protests again on Monday. After protesting for pay increases on April 17 in Central Park, the workers yesterday took to the streets outside the Wingham Abs.

Off to the Nationals: Kimbriki rider Emily Foster has qualified for the Appaloosa Nationals and will travel to Tamworth next week.

Funding: WHILE community members recently took part in Anzac Day activities, NSW deputy premier and member for Oxley Andrew Stoner announced funding of $10,000 to assist preliminary works for the Neville Howse VC Rest Area near Elands.

Farmers market: THE Wingham Farmers Market is on this Saturday May 3 and we met the feature producers Sooze Boshire and Dale Bradshaw of Old Inn Road Wines, near Bulahdelah.
