The FRRR aims to build resilience and long-term viability and vitality within rural, and regional communities across Australia.
Circartus director, Jill Watkins said the funding is to bolster the school's Train the Trainer program.
Jill introduced the program in 2019 in a bid to make the school sustainable by having more than one person teaching classes.
There are now currently six trainers teaching a variety of circus skills to locals aged from four-years-old to adult.
Skills include stilt walking, juggling and aerial with a current total of 14 different classes per week.
The FRRR funding will allow Jill to not only formalise the current training program but also invite a visiting artist to offer hands on training in the studio.
Jill also hopes to recruit more new trainers.
The Train the Trainer program is a fully supported mentored program which sees trainees work through different levels of competency.
Jill said the mentoring style of training is traditional in the circus community where skills are passed from person to person rather than from an approved course.
"It's not for someone who hasn't done circus before," admits Jill.
"It is a big commitment."
Trainers are paid for their time once they reach the first level of competency.
