Great effort in hot conditions

Wingham's Lauders Real Estate Under 10's cricket team lost the toss on Saturday and were sent into bat first.

Logan Rees and Madison Beattie opened the batting and got the team off to a steady start.

Oliver Barry and Sam Raison batting together in the middle order played some nice shots and had a good partnership together.

Lucas Rees batting with new player Ayden Humphrey's were the last pair and after 20 overs Wingham was 3/93.

Coming out to field in the mid morning heat wasn't easy but the team put on their best performance so far.

Cooper Beattie continues to improve with each game, Cody Rees took the gloves for the first time and young Jack Murray was on fire with the ball claiming three wickets in one over.

The coach was very happy with the teams improvement and the effort they all put in on very hot morning.
