The club has thanked the public for the many book donations it has received and for their ongoing support.
Taree North members have enjoyed the assistance of Wingham Rotary at the book fair in recent months. It is hoped the book fair will become a shared project for the two clubs.
The book fair will continue to open on the third Saturday of each month from 7.30am to 12.30pm.
There is a massive range of books, magazines, DVDs, CDs and jigsaws available at bargain prices.
Proceeds of the book fair go to local charities and Rotary projects worldwide.
Surplus books are boxed and sent overseas to those in need.
The Taree North Rotary Club enjoys and appreciates the working relationship it has with Jim Pearson Transport who assists in transporting the books to Donations In Kind Brisbane.
Donations in Kind is a fabulous program by which Rotary receives hospital and school equipment, books and much more that is being upgraded within our schools and hospitals and then sends them by container to near neighbours in Papua New Guinea, the Solomons and other Pacific Islands.
The book fair will be at the Taree Showgrounds from 7.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday, November 21.
The club has taken all necessary measures to adhere to COVID 19 health and safety requirements.
