The Wherrol Flat Country Town Afternoon Outing and Car Boot Sale will be held at the Wherrol Flat Tennis Courts to launch plans for the new tennis sports recreation shed and raise funds for the project.
The afternoon will feature live music from local musicians Graeme Bird and the Rusty Hinges Band as well as a car boot sale, children's bouncy castle and food and drinks by Rotary.
The event is also an opportunity for local artists to showcase their work and for the community to support them.
Artists have had a rough trot during the recent drought, fire and COVID season and organisers hope the day brings a much needed boost to local creative talent.
Work featured on the day will include landscape paintings by Beth Byrne and photography by Andrew Rommelse.
There's still time for local artists to be included. So if you're a sculptor, potter, painter, photographer or woodworker please contact Dave Sullings at sullsdj5@gmail.com.
There will be access to credit/debit card facilities on the day.
Participants in the car boot sale can sell their wares for $10 per car with COVID safe protocols in place.

About the new tennis sports recreation shed
Money raised from the Wherrol Flat Country Town Afternoon Outing and Car Boot Sale will go towards building the new sports shed.
It is hoped new shed will be used by the community as a general sports activities shed for tennis, croquet, boules, volleyball, yoga and classes of different kinds. It will be a solid structure built from concrete blocks and will have a disability toilet and shower.
