After a couple of close victories, again this game could have gone either way.
Wingham were on the scoreboard after five minutes when a kick on the last play saw Jarryd Gibson score in the corner.
Five minutes from half time, Macksville threw the ball around on the last tackle play, which led to a converted try.
Minutes later, the visitors were in again to lead 12-4 at the break.
An early second half try to Jack Campbell in the corner brought the Tigers within striking distance.
Five minutes later, a chip and chase from Hayden Essery resulted in a try to Sam McIntosh in the corner. Hayden Essery's sideline conversion put Wingham ahead 14-12.
Midway through the last quarter, Macksville put their nose in front with another converted try for an 18-14 advantage.
Just before full time, a chip and chase, along with a favourable bounce, resulted in a try under the posts, sealing a 24-14 victory.
