Wingham RSL Sub-branch members after the September 2019 meeting.

Life for members of Wingham RSL Sub-branch has, like all other people, been very different in this time of COVID-19.

Some things have stayed the same however, which has provided a comfort to us and hopefully some of the people around us.

The committee has continued to meet and make decisions which have ensured the forward movement of RSL within our community and district. We have used Zoom to hold a meeting, which was quite challenging but we got there.

The advocacy team have been busy with current clients, and ensuring their needs are met, as well as picking up with new clients. If any veterans require any assistance please email our team at

Many thanks to the advocacy team, they do a wonderful job.

Our member, Brian Willey, has been voted in as president of the Lower North Coast District. We feel sure he will do a wonderful job, and we congratulate him in his new role. With the changes in the constitution of RSL NSW this will be a very challenging job for Brian to undertake, but he is certainly up to it.

We, like everybody else, look forward to the day when we can all meet again, it may not be too far away. Stay safe and if there are any Veterans looking for comradeship, membership is always available, details can be found in the foyer of Wingham Services Club.
