Recently, principal, Peter Nicholls hit the road to visit some of the region's Catholic primary schools including Gloucester, Bulahdelah, Forster and Taree while assistant principal, learning and teaching, Theresa Avery visited Wingham.
The road trip was timed to help celebrate the significant contributions that Catholic schools make to the learning and wellbeing of their local communities.
"It was wonderful to visit such vibrant places and to sit and talk with students and parents about their school and their hopes and dreams for the future," Mr Nicholls said in the school's newsletter.
But the celebration wasn't just about the visit, it also included a pretty special event.
Towards the end of Catholic Schools Week, St Clare's hosted 100 primary school students in the annual ASPIRE Arts Workshop.
The two-day workshop gives students from the Catholic feeder schools the opportunity to hone their skills in art, music, choir and dance.
"The ASPIRE team headed by Anna Kerrigan instil a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration within the groups which enables the students to present a showcase of their learning to parents and friends after six hours of writing, and rehearsal," Mr Nicholls explained.
"The quality of the art work, vocals, musicians and all singing and dancing performers was very high and much enjoyed by the audience.
"My thanks to the visiting ASPIRE teachers, the Primary School teachers who attended and looked after their young people, and to all at St Clare's who made all of our visitors feel welcome and at home."
