Learn how to cure your hubby's drinking, and how trucks were turned into buses.
Listen to part two of Vic Carle's prisoner of war story, and hear about the local family that had 10 footballer sons.
These true stories that make up our local history, and more, will be told at the next batch of performances at the Manning Valley Historical Society's (MVHS) popular Night in the Museum event on Friday, April 3 at Wingham Museum.
MVHS volunteers will dress up in period costume and transport you to an earlier time in our history by telling tales (sometimes by candlelight) at various locations within the Museum.
Five groups of people will be escorted around the Museum to various stations, at half hourly intervals, with the first group starting at 6pm sharp. Groups of 12-15 will be guided through in each time slot.
The Night in the Museum events are extremely popular and spots are limited so booking early is advised.
To book phone 6553 5823 or email mvhsmuseum@iinet.net.au. Alternatively you can inquire at the Wingham Museum. Cost is adults $5, pensioners $4, children $1 and family $10.
Wingham Museum is open seven days a week from 10am to 4pm.
