It's a big ask to stay updated with the fast pace of technology change, but 30 minutes once a fortnight will help you become tech-savvy with the best of them.
Optus and MidCoast Council Libraries are joining forces in a joint initiative which aims to support people in our community to stay connected and get the most out of their device.
"Navigating new technology doesn't come as second nature to everyone, but often a little help goes a long way," says Chris Jones, manager of MidCoast Council Libraries.
It's a great program for anyone needing a helping hand with their smartphone, tablet or computer, with local experts available every Monday (excluding public holidays) to help you better understand the technology you have.
"Technology is moving at a rapid rate and it's easy to feel like you're getting left behind," Chris said.
"We're delighted to be able to offer these sessions that will give people an informal, relaxed environment to ask questions and learn."
These free sessions run every second week, starting Monday February 17 from 10am to 4.30pm at Taree Library. You can book your 30 minute session by contacting the library on 6592 5290.
