One hundred girls and women aged 14 and over are set to take part in the fourth annual Girls Only Triathlon, which will be held at Elizabeth Reserve at Forster Keys on Sunday, January 19.

Run by the Forster Tri Club, co-organiser Aaron Eichner said the event was starting to gather a following.
"It's less competitive and more of a fun and enjoyable format for girls and women who haven't done a triathlon before but want to give it a go," he said.
"The triathlon is designed to provide a challenging but achievable race distance for girls of all fitness levels and is the perfect 'first triathlon' for all women."
Kicking off at 8am, the course involves a 300m swim, 12km cycle and 3km run, with all participants receiving a race pack and souvenir finishers towel upon completing the course.

Cinemas bushfire fundraiser
The Howard family, who operate Fays Twin Cinemas Taree and Great Lakes Cinema 3, is joining an industry-wide initiative where $2 from every ticket sold on to a movie on Sunday, January 19 will be donated to bushfire relief. The proceeds will be split between The Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal, Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery and the RSPCA Bushfire Appeal.
"We'll be making sure there's something for all members of the family to enjoy, with films rated from G all the way to MA15+," Peter Howard said.
