Wallaby Joe Rural Fire Service in Wingham is holding its first training night for 2020 this Tuesday, January 7, and invites people along who are interested in joining the team.
The brigade's members have been working hard for months during the current bushfire crisis, and are still busy, and getting tired too.
The training night starts at 6.30pm at the brigade's fire shed in Industrial Close, Wingham, near the sporting complex off Comboyne Rd.
All are welcome, and new recruits are most welcome. It takes a team with many skills for a brigade to function, so if being on the fireground is not for you, there will be something you can add to the team.
No need to book your place, just turn up at 6.30pm on Tuesday.
