Fourteen-year-old Jaimee-Lee was named as a player in the ACT/NSW Country Female Under 15 squad by Cricket NSW last week.
The year eight Wingham High School student was selected for the team after intensive training camps in Sydney and at the North Coast Cricket Academy as well as playing in the country championships in October.
Jaimee-Lee said she loves all areas of the game and her strengths lie with her left arm fast swing bowling on turf wickets and she loves fielding with speed and quick reflexes.
Jaimee-Lee now has the opportunity to play for Northern Districts in Sydney playing in the U18's Brewer Shield starting on December 8.
Her first club game with Tinonee/Old Bar U16's this season saw her take seven wickets for five runs off three overs.
Jaimee-Lee is looking forward to her big trip in July where she travels to the UK as part of the United Kingdom Girls Cricket Development Tour.
