Warren was returned to his position at the committee's annual general meeting last weekend.
Aligning the girls game with the rest of the junior rugby league season is a high priority.
"We might be able to do that through a twilight competition," Warren suggested.
The interest in the game for girls has been noteworthy.
"We've experienced a period of high, consistent growth in the girls game," Warren said.
One of these ever evolving aspects of the game is the Group Three/ Hastings women's nines, which is currently being played. This involves under 13s, 15s and 17s players.
Education and coaching development are also on the radar. Warren insists this will continue to develop through the relationship with NRL side Canterbury Bulldogs.
In November last year, the Bulldogs linked up with the North Coast region to create a representative development pathway.
"The partnership gives our coaches an enormous opportunity to gain extra training from Sydney based coaches," Warren said.
It's been a period of change for the junior game in the area in the last two seasons.
Warren believes this boils down to a 'family orientated' approach to the sport.
"It's pleasing to continue the changes we have been doing over the last two years into a third," Warren said.
"We have also worked on the respectfulness and pride of the game."
A strong committee has been formed for 2020, according to Warren.
"I've got really good people around me," he said.
Treasurer Darrin Lewis, from the Wingham Tigers, is the 'ideas man' while registrar Gail McArdle brings a wealth of experience to her role. Warren and senior vice president Jared Woodhouse are also on the Group Three Rugby League senior board.
"This gives us an understanding of the senior game and makes sure we are aware of the juniors," Warren said.
The junior board also includes Danny Marchment (junior vice president) and Duane Takiari (secretary).
