Five performers from the Circartus Performance Troupe are set to dazzle a southern audience at Viva La Gong in Wollongong on Saturday, November 9.
Circartus director Jill Watkins said it is the first time the performance troupe will have performed outside of the local area.
They will perform the same show debuted at Akoostik earlier this month, collaborating once again with the STP Youth Performance Troupe from 'Burgh' in Helensburgh.
The crowd pleasing show will feature physical theatre, acrobatics and aerial arts.
The local students first teamed up with their Helensburgh counterparts for a holiday exchange program during the July and October school holidays.
The two groups have much in common and the kids soon became firm friends inspiring each other to learn new skills such as uni-cycling.
"One of the Helensburgh cast is a passionate uni-cyclist and now two of my students have been on a uni-cycle ever since," Jill said.
There will be plenty more inspiration for the Wingham students in Wollongong with circus acts all day including Circus WOW - The Wollongong Women's Community Circus.
"That's awesome exposure to see lots of other styles," said Jill.
