Weekend planner for Manning, Great Lakes and Gloucester October 11-13

Head on over to Taree Showground this weekend for the biggest event on the local agricultural calendar. The 2019 Taree Show kicks off today and will continue until Sunday. Entry to the show is $25 for family (two adults and two children), $10 for adults, $5 for children five to 18 years and $5 for pensioners.

All weekend

  • Taree Show at Taree Showground. Ring events start from 8.30am each day
  • NSW Rugby Sevens State Youth Championship at Tuncurry's Harry Elliott Oval. Games start from 8.30am

Friday

  • Free Your Mind Friday activities, 10.30am to 12,30pm at Taree Library
  • Food Smart workshop, 11am to 1pm at Wingham Library. No cost
  • Elvis- An American Trilogy show, 7.30pm to 10pm at Manning Entertainment Centre. Tickets: $55

  • Wingham markets, 8am to noon at 2 Dennes Street, Wingham (near skate park)
  • Gloucester markets, 8am to noon at Billabong Park, Gloucester
  • October fete, 8.30am to 1pm at 6 St Alban's Place, Forster (Forster Anglican Church)
  • Iris Flower and Photography Show, 10am to 3pm at Burrell Creek Hall. Cost: $3
  • Artist talk with Naked and Nude Art Prize 2019 winner Laura Matthews, 11am to noon at Manning Regional Art Gallery. No cost
  • PCYC Taree presents A Beautiful World gymnastics show at Manning Entertainment Centre. Sessions held 2pm to 4.20pm and 6.30pm to 8.50pm. Tickets available through the MEC
  • Gloucester Rotary Club's Interact Movie Night, 7pm to 10pm at 152 Thunderbolts Way, Gloucester (Arrowee House). Screening of movie Napoleon Dynamite. Cost: $5
