Wingham and District Preschool will receive $10,000 to replace decking, and the Flying Fox Mobile Preschool will receive $10,000 to go toward a music and kids bootcamp program.
The other organisations to receive the funding were:
- Taree & District Preschool, $9,664.55 for a chicken coop
- Old Bar Preschool, $9,128.40 for a verandah and outdoor learning space
- Great Lakes Children's Centre, $10,000.00 to replace the boundary fence
- Bulahdelah Preschool, $10,000.00 for outdoor equipment
- Goodstart Early Learning Taree, $5,225.32 for a water tank and yarning mats
"I am thrilled that our littlest learners will benefit from this funding now and for years to come," Mr Bromhead said.
"These grants can be used to make physical improvements to early childhood services, like new gardens, jungle gyms or bathroom renovations, and can also assist the rollout of new learning programs, like music lessons or yoga classes.
Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning Sarah Mitchell said it is crucial to continue to invest in the State's youngest learners.
"Our future doctors, lawyers, farmers and teachers are being shaped in our preschools and long day care centres as we speak, so an investment in them really is an investment in our future," Ms Mitchell said.
