Robyn Thomas, an experienced local support services specialist with the Taree office of Service NSW will be the guest speaker for the evening.
The service was developed in July 2012 and now offers a website, around the clock telephone service and more than 100 service centres across NSW.
Robyn will inform the audience of some of the 900 government transactions offered such as Roads and Maritime, NSW Births, Deaths and Marriages, Fair Trading as well as the newest service called Cost of Living.
More than 70 rebates have so far saved the local community $200,000.
Robyn will explain the three ways that the service can offer help: self-assessment via the internet, free appointment with a support service specialist, or telephone service.
Manning Net members agree we can all benefit from any savings in our living expenses, and welcome any information that can help us be better financially informed and equipped with daily living skills,
The cost for the evening is $25, which includes a two-course meal with complimentary tea and coffee after the meal.
