Band member Kevin Ballard, an organiser of the Wingham Akoostik Music Festival, says the band will also be playing on the Friday night at 7pm at this year's Akoostik Festival running from October 18 to 20.
Having four vocalists in the band gives The Trapps the ability to deliver a broad range of styles from blues to country to classic rock to current favourites.
Members are Lauren Baker, lead vocals; John Ballard, bass/vocals; Kev Ballard, guitar/vocals; and Brian Lambert, drums/vocals.
With a hard work ethic The Trapps have become festival staples at Wingham Akoostik Festival, Longview Farm Party, and Envirofair, along with being well established at many venues along the north coast.
The Trapps have also successfully produced original material, available for download through Spotify and iTunes.
The Trapps have a new five track EP of original material released in June 2019, titled River City Blues - have a listen at online or purchase the album at thetrapps1.bandcamp.com.
