The initiative, run by Australian not-for-profit organisation, Share the Dignity, has been providing homeless and at risk women with sanitary products since early 2015.
"We are thrilled to be supporting Share the Dignity and their 2019 August Dignity Drive." Dearne Batchelor, Branch Manager of Commonwealth Bank Wingham branch said.
"Share the Dignity provides an opportunity to make life better for women and girls experiencing homelessness or poverty in our local community."
Commonwealth Bank Wingham branch is just one of many branches in the mid-North Coast area who are also supporting the initiative. The team are hoping to collect 100 unopened packets of sanitary items during the campaign to donate to those in need.
For anyone who would like to donate, it's simple. Unopened sanitary items can be dropped off at the Commonwealth Bank Wingham branch or other local collection points during the month of August.
