MidCoast Council has partnered with Kanopy, the on-demand streaming service, to provide library members access to more than 30,000 films for free.

Through the partnership library card holders can access content that covers movies, TV shows, documentaries, kids programs and more which can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device or platform by downloading the Kanopy app for iOS, Android, AppleTV or Chromecast.
"We're really excited to be launching this free service," MidCoast Council's manager of libraries, Chris Jones said.
The service caters for all tastes and interests, with award-winning documentaries, rare and hard-to-find titles, film festival favourites, contemporary, indie and classic films, popular television series, and educational content across hundreds of topics.
For families with children, it also provides access to an extensive catalogue of kids entertainment.
Kanopy is free for library members, and registration is simple. To get started visit www.midcoastlibraries.com.au/eservices, click through to the Kanopy site, and sign-up using your active library membership card. Once registered, you'll have access to up to six free films each month.
