At the recent annual meeting association president Geoff Hazell announced the induction to Gordon. Acclamation followed by the club delegates in attendance.
Gordon has been a tower of strength in all facets of administration for many seasons. He has at various times served as secretary, publicity, umpire and has been an untiring link between the junior and senior associations. At club level he has devoted his efforts to Wherrol Flat CC and United Cricket Club.
He also seved two terms as president of the Mid North Coast Cricket Council and was in the chair when the successful Mid North Coast Premier League was introduced in 2017/18.
For nine consecutive years he has organised and locally promoted Pink Stumps Day raising proceeds to assist the McGrath Foundation. His slogan, "$10.000 for 10 Years" is in his sights for the event next February.
