The Hindmarsh Collection, a fine art display and sale of work by well known local artists Ron and Helen Hindmarsh has opened at Taree Craft Cottage.
This is Ron and Helen's personal collection which spans over 30 years and their subjects are wide and varied, with some reflecting their travels throughout Australia and their trip to Italy.
Ron uses a variety of mediums, including oils, water colour, pastels and pen and wash, while Helen enjoys using acrylics.
Ron and Helen have each donated a painting to be raffled for charity and the funds raised will be shared between Manning Valley Push For Palliative and Art and Soul PTSD therapy art classes.
The paintings can be viewed and tickets are available at the craft cottage. Ten per cent of all art sales will also go to the two charities.
The Hindmarsh Collection will be staged at Taree Craft Cottage, 77 Pulteney Street, Taree from Monday, July 8 to Saturday, July 20.
Opening hours are 9.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, and 9.30am to 1pm on Saturdays. Admission is free. Enquiries to Pam Eyb on 6552 5552.
