The 17-year-old singer, known professionally as Hudson Rose, will join other young artists aged from 10 to 18 to learn about the music industry from the cream of Australian country music mentors in Tamworth.
Twenty seven students in total will learn from award-winning insiders and professionals in areas of songwriting, music business, promotion, media, interviewing techniques, recording and performance.
Seven-time Golden Guitar winner Lyn Bowtell leads the academy as director with fellow Golden Guitar winner and Bushwackers member Roger Corbett as general manager.
Leading the groups will be Simon Johnson, Fanny Lumsden, Mickey Pye and David Carter.
The academy junior course runs from July 6-12 ahead of the Hats Off to Tamworth Festival, with the graduation held on July 12 at the Family Hotel, Tamworth.
The Academy Live! performance is on Friday, July 12 at 7pm in Moonshiners at The Family Hotel, Tamworth. Entry is $10.
In January Hudson Rose made it to the 2019 Tamworth Country Music Festival Busking Finals and in October she will perform at the 2019 Wingham Akoostik Festival.
