The Wingham Tigers travelled to "the graveyard" to play the Old Bar Beach Pirates on Sunday. The home team are struggling at the bottom of the table in 2019.

Early in the contest, Joel Kliendienst busted the defence to put Mitch Collins in for a try. Danny Russell added the extra points.
With a quarter of an hour remaining in the first half, Jackson Mullen barged over from a tap kick to score near the posts. With the conversion, Wingham led by 12-0.
Minutes later, Mick Sullivan put through a grubber kick into the in-goal area for Danny Russell to score and extend the lead to 16-0, which was the half time score.
The Pirates got on the scoreboard just after the break with a try in the corner.
Five minutes later, an inside ball from Mick Sullivan put Brendan Butler in for a try. Danny Russell was successful with the kick for a 22-4 advantage.
Then Brodie Myer scored in the corner, and Danny Russell's sideline conversion extended the lead to 24 points.
Inside the last ten minutes, Matt Bridge scored under the posts following a break from Kurt Lewis followed by a kick.
Another try to Matt Bridge in the final minutes made the final score 38-4.
As a matter of interest, there were four sets of brothers in the first grade squad: Mitch and Beau Collins, Matt and Tim Bridge, Jake and Jackson Mullen, and Jake and Corey Wheeler.
Under 18's player Jarrad Gibson made his First Grade debut and was named Players' player.

Reserve grade
The Tigers' Reserve Grade team remain undefeated with a tough 24-16 victory.
Old Bar Beach scored early to lead 4-0.
Then tries to Luke Steel and Adam Kerr, both converted by Glenn O'Davis put Wingham ahead 12-4.
Corey Wheeler was sin-binned, and while down to 12 players, the Tigers conceded a try to reduce the lead to 12-10 at the break.
An early second half try to Craig Watson in the corner, converted by Glenn O'Davis from the sideline restored an eight point advantage briefly.
Minutes later, a converted try to the Pirates dummy half made the score 18-16.
Five minutes later, Trent Grofos scored under the posts, the conversion made the score 24-16.
There were no additions to the scoreboard in the final 20 minutes of the match.

Under 18's
The Wingham's Under 18s team was up against the undefeated competition leaders.
John Roberts crossed out wide early to give Wingham a 4-0 lead.
But the Pirates responded with two tries to lead 10-4 at the break.
Another try just after half time gave the home team a 16-4 advantage.
Will Gee scored five minutes later for Wingham.
Old Bar Beach responded immediately to lead 22-4.
A late try to Jack Campbell, converted by Harry Lewis made the final score 22-14.

League Tag
The Wingham Tigers League Tag team trailed 10-4 at the break, after an early try to Lily Murray.
But second half tries to Natalie Watson (converted by Brooke Atkins), Jonty Hemmingway and Natasha Robinson gave Wingham their fourth win of the season.
