Pennants
Our No. 3 Grade went to Old Bar and collected nine points with the rink of Tom Moore, Michael Clarke, Glen Dennes and Peter Tindall with a good 29-16 win and they lead 19-4 early in the game. Col Watson, Paul Hodges, Jamie Carr and Terry Rowe were also winners 23-20. Steve Matheson's rink went down by five shots.
No. 7 Grade playing at home came up against a strong Harrington combination and after a good start our rinks could not hold the visitors. John Black's rink of Barry Kershaw, Winston Lattimore and Greg Cuttance found themselves behind by a shot on the 19th end to eventually go down 24-20. The other rinks skipped by Hunter Payton and son Patrick lost by much wider margins.
