District Pennants is nearing the finish line, with the play-off's played at Leagues Club last Wednesday with some interesting results. They are:

- Grade 3: Old Bar defeated Forster;
- Grade 4: Wingham defeated Harrington; Grade 5:
- Bulahdelah defeated Taree West.
The above teams will then play in the Zone, which is to be played at Tuncurry Beach on Wednesday May 22. Please come along to support your club.
A special thank you to all those who came along to cheer Wingham to victory. It was most pleasing to see Gwen Bell seated on the side line to cheer our ladies on after her knee operation. Elaine Holden with the now "in" hair colour - gold, Norma Platt who is a regular to these important events, who does not play bowls now, to the men bowlers from our club who came along. Congratulations to both teams who put in a mighty effort.
