The road surface is in very poor condition and will undergo rehabilitation with the work being prioritised as part of Council's Urban Rehabilitation Program.
In addition to the roadworks, further improvements to the streetscape of Farquhar Street will also be made.
Four designs to improve the streetscape have been developed for community consideration, and Council will hold workshops at Wingham Town Hall, at 10am on Wednesday May 22 and 6pm on Wednesday May 29, to present the designs and gain feedback from the community about the elements included in each option.
The four designs are available for viewing on Council's website and you can provide your comments online via the feedback form until 4.30pm on Wednesday June 5.
More information is available on the MidCoast Council website.
