The event will be hosted by the Taree and District branch of RSPCA, with registrations to start at 9am at a cost of $5 per animal. The walk will begin at 10am.
There will be plenty of giveaways, food, stalls and entertainment. Prizes for your beloved pooches will also be up for grabs.
All proceeds will assist the RSPCA to operate animal shelters, support its inspectors and provide education to the community on animal welfare issues.
More than 100 animals took part in last year's event.
The local branch has a small band of volunteers that continue to work, raise funds and promote awareness for the prevention of animal cruelty.
Thousands of people, and their dogs, are expected to take part in walks across the country next Sunday. At time of print, RSPCA had already raised $567,799 towards this year's total. Visit www.millionpawswalk.com.au to make a donation.
