Louise was nominated by Wingham FC for her ongoing commitment and dedication to football over a number of years of service as the club's treasurer and unofficially the fount of all knowledge within the club.
"Finding volunteers as passionate and selfless as Louise is the goal for all sporting clubs across the country," Northern NSW Football senior officer community football, Ross Hicks said.
"Her contribution has been key in the continued success of the club and it is very pleasing to be able to recognise the effort and hard work Louise has provided Wingham over the years."
Newcastle Permanent Taree Branch manager Vanessa Byma congratulated Louise on becoming the recipient of the Newcastle Permanent Volunteer of the Month Award.
"Newcastle Permanent's Community Football Awards provide opportunities to recognise volunteers who generously give back to their clubs and communities," Vanessa said.
"It is great to see a local representative being recognised for their ongoing commitment."
Louise will receive a volunteer jacket and bag courtesy of Newcastle Permanent to assist her in continuing to fulfil her valuable role at the club.
