A feature of the Dawn Service will be the reading of a letter from a Manning WWI soldier, plus the telling of his story, by the vice captains of Wingham High School. The readings are extracts from Margaret Clark's new book, Manning Valley Volunteers in the Great War. The book was published this week and is available for sale at the Wingham Museum.
After the Dawn Service, The Wingham RSL Sub-branch is holding a complementary breakfast at the Wingham Memorial Services Club.
