A game of night golf was played on our course. A field of 45 players had a great time with lots of stories to tell. The event was sponsored by Burson Auto Repairs and the winners were Rod and Choppa on a countback, followed by Tim and Mitch.

Tuesday April 16
The ladies played a stroke round for the April Monthly Medal and the Drummond Golf Trophy. The winner was Bev Hodgson with 64 nett, Div 1 gross winner Denise Polley 84, nett Pat Whiteley 68m putting Janice Surtees 29c/b.
Div 2 gross Pat Marcus 103, nett Bev Bisby 71, putts Cheryl Andrews 33c/b.
Div 3 gross Dot Clarke 110, nett Sue McKenna 79, putts Bev Hodgson 30.

Wednesday April 17
The vets' event was sponsored by McDonalds Taree and there 44 players. The winner was Graham Coleman 49pts - I believe his handicap is 11 shots lighter. Next was David Homewood 42c/b, Trevor Burns 42. The NTP on the 3rd/12th was won by Ces Pedron, on the 7th/16th Jim Bradshaw.
Thursday April 18
Graham Lewis won the LJ Hooker Chook Run with 25pts, followed by Craig Harrison 24, Steve Bird 22, Phil Nelson 21c/b, Rod Brown 21, Dave Shubert 21. Rod Brown won the NTP on the third and Sandy Dunn on the seventh.
Saturday April 20
An ambrose in pairs was played and there were 62 starters. The winners were Rex White and Barry Brown, followed by Phil Hanlen, Adam Beattie, Nick Beacham, Braydon Cowley.
