In this round we played Old Bar at Old Bar on Tuesday April 16 with both teams taking a win which amounted to handsome five points. Congratulations on a fine effort considering weather changes with a stop/start happening on a few ends.
The team of D. Matheson (skip), C. O'Donnell, C. Kriss and J. Duncan had a win 25/16. L. Gilford (skip), C. Willey, L. Dennes and D. Lewis had a win - 25/17.
On Wednesday April 17 we travelled to Gloucester where we were presented with fresh homemade scones with jam and cream and fresh cakes to start our day.
Team Matheson continued their good form with a win 22/16.
Team Gilford feel in a heap struggling to find the grass and weight whereas Gloucester were playing well from the start building tight heads to take the ends from us.
Congratulations to Gloucester who displayed good bowling skills and friendship on their synthetic green.
