Playing at Forster it was a very good result for the grade by getting up by four shots overall, 67-63. The rink of Hunter and Pat Payton with Neville Bell as lead and Kev Coles only allowed their opponents to win five of the 21 ends with the final score being 31-10. Even though the other two rinks lost to Forster, Hunter's lead was sufficient to gain the win for the Tigers. John Black's team went down 24-19 and Steve Knott's down by 12 shots, however Steve's team did win 10 of the ends.
No. 3 Grade
On Saturday they were at Gloucester with the home club taking the honours. However Wingham did gain a point and that was the rink of Steve Matheson. On Sunday it was a 'washed out' game at Forster with the home side winning each of the rinks. This Saturday we have at home the 3 and 7 grades and the 6s away.
Club pairs
In the battle between Tom Moore and Steve Matheson up against Col Watson and Laurie Mullen a shot separated them at the halfway mark.
