Club Pairs, March 14
First round - Greg Bartlett and Robert Allen ensured they progressed by defeating Paul Hodges and Allan Watters 24-10. Also with a very good win were Robert Hardy and Barry Smith with a 29-18 victory against Jim Gillogly and Justin Costa (who did lead 10 nil after two ends).

Ben Walters and George Sinclair led 15 nil after six ends against Snow and Rob Trenchard and eventually got up 24-12. John Black and Daniel Leadbeater had a 21-15 victory against Kev Coles and Barry Kershaw.
Club 4s
The Paytons-Hunter and Pat playing with Jamie Carr and Neville Bell had a convincing victory over Rex Dawson, Jake Hinton, Chris Kane and Peter Tindall 24-17. On the 14th end Hunter and his crew led 21-8 and overall they won 12 of the 21 ends.
At this stage their opponents are not known as there is a catch-up game.
District Pennants, March 16
Our No. 6 Grade collected 10 points with their overall 60-46 win over Taree West at home. Leading the way was the rink of Greg Bartlett, Jim Gillogly, Robert Allen by winning 13 of the 21 ends and a 21-10 result. Rex Dawson as skip and his team of Graeme Ireland, Barry Smith and Allan Watters led by six shots on the 13th end to then hang on and win 20-19. Dally Hammond, Jamie Carr, Snow Trenchard and Justin Costa were behind by a shot on the 18th but got in front to win 19-17.
No. 7 Grade, also at home to Tuncurry, eventually collected 10 points as the opposition were disqualified for playing an unregistered player. Our winning rinks of John Black, Barry Kershaw, Lorne Pillotto and Matt Yeark were down by a shot on the 16th end but came home strong to win 27-15.
Then with a 27-21 victory were Steve Knott, George Sinclair, Peter Brown and George Floyd who led all the way except for an end. Hunter and Pat Payton playing with Kev Coles and Allan Dodd were in the lead 16-13 on the 14th end but their opposition got away to win by seven shots. However it was much improved team effort compared to the previous week as was the same with the 6s.
Wednesday Dad's Army
Jamie Carr, Scott Hatton and Greg Cuttance had a big 20+ win over Ben Walters, George Sinclair and Tim Richardson and made sure of it by collecting seven shots midway into the game. Then came Phill Malone, Brian Williams and Mick Hollebone (who could do no wrong) with a +15 against Glen Dennes, Justin Costa and Allan Dodd. Dally Hammond, Col Hinton and Winston Lattimore got a +6 against Jim Gillogly, Kev Coles and Winston as swinging lead. Greg Bartlett, Eric Weir and Carl Castagnone had a +6 win against Peter Holden, Tony Baker and Keith Jolly.
