Diesel was due to headline at the 2018 festival but a large storm brought the event to a sudden end before the US born-Australian singer had the opportunity to perform.
Akoostik Festival co-ordinator Donna Ballard said as well as coming back to the event, Diesel will bring a full band along with him.
“We’re so excited Diesel will be returning after not getting to play last year. The fact that he’s not only coming back but he’s bringing an even bigger show for us is awesome,” she said.
“This year will be our biggest lineup yet, with even more well-known names to come.”
Diesel will be joined by other acts including Lloyd Spiegel, Hat Fitz and Cara, 19-Twenty, Hussy Hicks, Mason Rack, Blues Arcardia and Then Jolene.
More acts will be announced in the coming months.
Each year the award-winning Akoostik fuses together a solid lineup of blues, roots, country, rock and alternative acts.
On-site camping allows festival-goers to fully immerse themselves in the music, entertainment and cultural experiences on offer.
The 2019 Wingham Akoostik Festival will be held at Wingham Showground on October 18-20.
