Why, 'Poisonous Prawns' of course!
Following their 2018 acclaimed choral performances of 'Schubert's Mass in G' in a massed choir with Kantabile Chamber Choir and the U3A Silver Tones, and 'Sing the Joy of Christmas', the Manning Valley Choral Society (MVCS) will embark on another ambitious project in 2019 - a rare glimpse into the mayhem and madness of the radio play idiom.
Featuring timeless classics and beloved songs from the 1920s to 1950s, these enduring compositions are skillfully interwoven with dialogue, characters and a plot that is lively, surprising and comical.
The brainchild of prolific writer and Choral Society member, Geraldine Mullin, Poisonous Prawns is guaranteed to be an enjoyable and memorable experience for choristers and audiences alike.
Manning Valley Choral Society's rehearsal sessions commence this Thursday, February 7 at 7pm at the Rise Church of Christ Fellowship Centre, Victoria Street, Taree. All vocalists welcome.
