The team capped off the month with a ‘mo-off’ on Friday, November 30, where each member shaved off their moustache at the school hall. Student representative council co-ordinator and participant Jeremy Hobbes said the team was proud of their efforts to raise funds for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention projects.
“For the last month we’ve been growing moustaches for Movember that will help with issues a lot of men suffer with,” Jeremy said.
Originally setting a target of $500, the team had raised $2350 by the ‘mo-off’.
