Amusement rides for all ages will fill Central Park on Thursday, December 13 from 5pm and there will be plenty of action in Bent Street to take you into the night.
Local community clubs will be cooking up some festive fare and the chocolate wheels will be working overtime for those trying to win a ham.
The carnival is an annual opportunity for locals to support community project groups with their fundraising activities.
The Chamber anticipates that the bed races will run from 5.30pm, with businesses and community groups urged to put a team together.
Part proceeds from the race and carnival will be donated to local rescue and emergency services.
Police, Taree VRA and SES volunteers will again ensure a safe and enjoyable evening and parents are urged to ensure their children are fully supervised throughout the night.
Santa will visit at 8pm followed by the finale at 8.30pm when shoppers will have the chance to win $500 in shopping voucher prizes in the lucky draw.
During the lead up to the carnival, participating outlets will be giving away shopper dockets to customers to enter into the draw, so do your Christmas shopping in Wingham this season for your chance to win.
Just a reminder, you have to be present at the draw to be eligible for the prizes.
Many of the local retailers will be open during the carnival for your chance to do a spot of late night Christmas shopping or just relax for a while with a coffee.
There will be no access by traffic into Bent Street between Isabella and Farquhar Streets after 4.30pm, with road closures effective until the carnival finishes at 9.30pm.
All drivers are asked to remove their cars from Bent Street before 4pm.
