Organisers say they are very confident in the rumour from a reliable source that Santa will be making an appearance, and definitely bringing lollies with him.
There will be a free train ride for the children, and a number of stalls from Tinonee groups selling barbecue sandwiches, tea and coffee, cakes, soft drinks and water, chips and popcorn and more.
Performances will be by Greg Walshe, Earth Angels Childcare Centre, Tinonee Public School and the Club Taree Community Concert Band.
Raffle tickets are already on sale for $1 each or buy $10 and you receive a free ticket in the bonus draw. Tickets are on sale at the Tinonee General Store and Tinonee Farmhouse takeaway, and will also be available for purchase at the carols.
The carols are supported by the Tinonee Soccer Club, Tinonee Rural Fire Service, Tinonee Public School, MidCoast Council, JR Richards and Sons, Saxby’s Drury Distributors, Tinonee Memorial School of Arts Hall, Tinonee Progress Association and Tinonee Cricket Club, with many more businesses and individual donors to the raffle.
Gates open at 5pm with the official program kicking off at 6.30pm. Entry is free. As the carols are situated on council property there are strictly no pets, smoking or alcohol permitted.
