The vets played a stableford event sponsored by Halliday Shores Village. There were 58 players. Winners were Ted Bowen 42pts, Terry Morris 41pts c/b, Simon Lemon 41, nearest the pin winners on the 3rd/12th Terry Morris,7th/16th Phil Greenwood.
For the ambrose there were 45 starters. Winners were Wardmen A. Ward, C. Franklin, L. Badger, A. Green, next No Necks L. Mitchell, C. Hollis, G. Harper, N. Kidwell.
Thursday November 15
There were 47 starters in the LJ Hooker Chook run. The winner was Corey Moore 25pts, Gary Masters 23, Richard Bridges 22 c/b, Wayne Lewis 22 c/b, Nev Blanch 22, Rod Walch 21 c/b.
NTP winners were on the third Corey Franklin, and on the seventh Ken Squires.
Friday November 16
The ladies played a back nine Stableford. The winner was Pat Whiteley, r/up Connie Gates, ball winners were Cheryl Andrews, Sue McKenna, and Bec Hodgson won the nearest the pin.
There will be no golf next week.
Saturday November 17
The annual Wingham Betta Electrical Cup was played for and the winner was Garry Masters, who is moving WA to live, with a great 65 net. All the best, Garry.
A Grade winner was Rohan Abbott 68 net, r/up Richard Clark 69. B Grade Brian Roberts 69, r/up Dave Woollard 70 c/b. C Grade Tim Sky 67, r/up Paul Ryan 70 c/b.
The ladies' winner was Katrina Greenaway 70 net.
