If last year’s fete is anything to go by, it looks like Wingham is in for a real treat.
The whole community is invited to share the fun of the fair, with rides, stalls and entertainment from 10am to 3pm, on Sunday, November 25 at the school in Church Crescent, alongside Wingham Museum.
This year’s rides include a giant inflatable slide, jumping castle, teacups, trackless train and the ever-popular mechanical bull.
All day rides passes will be available and the kids will be having fun no matter which way they turn, with prizes galore to be won in Sideshow Alley games.
Pony rides, a snake display and an animal petting farm will be some of the highlights for the animal-loving members of the family.
This year, the car show on Farquhar Street will be a new attraction, including some cool custom motorbikes.
A special VIP will be arriving direct from the North Pole – children can have their photos taken with Santa!
But if you can’t wait to find out who’s been naughty or nice, the Christmas Market will have treats ranging from plants to cakes to gifts and much, much more.
Did you know that Wingham’s Got Talent? See for yourself at the fete, when students compete in a quest to find the brightest stars of the stage.
All the fete favourites will feature, including the chocolate wheel and a silent auction with bidding for gorgeous gift packs.
St Joseph’s school is very grateful that prizes have been so generously donated by local businesses.
The lucky winner of the Christmas Fete raffle will be announced on the day, with the winner taking home the grand prize Christmas Tree, with $270 worth of vouchers to spend locally, plus many more presents to go under the tree.
All funds raised on the day enable the St Joseph’s Wingham P&F to fund resources that support children’s learning.
