Coming up against a very good Taree West side in Central Park, Wingham won the toss and elected to bat.
Runs flowed steadily with Blake Thompson top scoring with a run-a-ball 19 before he was bowled by Josh Jones.
Nathan Smith, Jack Campbell and RJ Shepherd also scored in double figures, but really it was a team effort to post 142 as their total.
With the ball Wingham were on top early having the visitors 2-12 courtesy of Nathan and Blake rattling the timbers of the two Taree West openers.
Lachlan Brown and Lachlan Cross then put on a good partnership before both were out with the score on 45 courtesy of Clancy Johnston’s first wicket of the season and a fine catch to Cooper Staff off Blakes bowling.
Run outs then to Jack and Blake all but sealed the end for the visitors until Dylan Mitchell chimed in with the last wicket to end the innings on 103.
