Wingham Under 12s lost the toss and were asked to bat first against Boost Juice Forster on Saturday. Forster had Wingham in early trouble claiming five quick wickets before a solid partnership between the Dawson boys, Lachlan and Mitchell, steadied the ship for Wingham.

Callum Taylor also added some valuable runs to the Wingham score before Wingham was all out for 68.
Wingham's opening bowlers, Jackson Barry 2-14 (three overs) and Drew Gosper 3-6 (three overs), were on the mark early but a blistering 40 not out from L Turner sealed the win for Forster, 5-70.

Under 10 Wingham Sixers
There was no luck for the Under 10 Wingham Sixers either, with some early run-outs causing a jittery start against Taree West Heat.
Angus Abbott was bowled for six by a near perfect delivery which clipped the top of off stump.
Sam Harris (13) and Kobi Lucas (3) then set the foundations before Lincoln Smith (15) got the innings moving with three boundaries.
Hunter Lucas (1) and Anwar Ali (8) continued to build Wingham’s innings before Ned Crawford (21no) and Arabella Roohan (11no) ensured a fast finish to Wingham’s innings.
Wingham completed their allocated 20 overs with 135 runs.
The Wingham bowlers found wickets hard to come by, with Angus Abbott the best of the bowlers finishing with 1/11.
Arabella Roohan was the first of three players to execute two run outs each with an early direct hit.
Ned Crawford and Sam Harris assisted by the keeper also found the Taree West Heat batters short. Despite the Sixers best efforts the Heat prevailed by 13 runs finishing their 20 overs with 7/148.
The Wingham Thunder had the bye.
