Manning Great Lakes Police officers arrested two men in relation to a pursuit with a stolen car on Tuesday, November 6.

Just before 9am, police detected a stolen Mitsubishi ASX travelling north on the Pacific Highway at Coopernook.
Police attempted to follow the car but it accelerated onto the wrong side of the road.
The pursuit was then terminated.
About 10am, the vehicle was spotted on the Pacific Highway at Cundletown.
Police initiated a second pursuit, however it was terminated due to the manner of driving.
The car was seen again at Bundook where the driver attempted to evade police, driving onto a grass verge and into a culvert.
The car came to a stop and the men were arrested.
The 33-year-old driver was taken to Taree Police Station.
He was charged with take and drive conveyance, failing to stop in a police pursuit, two counts of break and enter in company, three counts of malicious damage, four counts of larceny, driving at speed and in a dangerous manner, not licenced and fraud.
The 29-year-old passenger was taken to Forster Police Station.
He was charged with be carried in a conveyance, two counts of break and enter in company, two counts of malicious damage and five counts of larceny.
Both men were refused bailed and appeared in Forster Local Court on Wednesday, November 7.
They have both been remanded to reappear in Forster Local Court on Tuesday, November 20.
Manning Great Lakes Police District Commander Superintendent Shane Cribb said this is a great example of the dedication of police in this district.
“Our officers are committed to driving down crime in this area,” Superintendent Cribb said.
“We will continue to arrest offenders and put them before court and focus on keeping the community safe.”
