Mixed Fours Final, November 4
Taking the title for this year are Greg Bartlett, Claudia O'Donnell, Pam Weir and Peter Holden by defeating Graeme Ireland, Denise Matheson, Paul Swan and Gwen Bell with the score being 31/13.
Graeme and his team got away to an early lead being 8/1 after only four ends, but they could only muster the extra five shots over the remaining ends to go down to a team that continued to apply pressure and combined very well.
Pam was a replacement unit and she held her own against more experienced players. Denise was forced to play a number of running shots for Graeme and many went within millimetres of getting a result for the team. However in the final analysis Greg and his team deserved their victory.
