Our next market is on Saturday November 3.
The featured stallholder this month is Carol McNeil, The Shirt Lady.
Carol has spent her lifetime sewing. She completed a four year drafting and sewing course at TAFE and is now occupying herself as a hobbyist with a small boutique range of handcrafted little girls dresses, in various styles and limited numbers, sizes 0-8.
This month there will be new styles in sizes six and eight and, as Christmas is approaching, some Christmas dresses have been designed in smaller sizes.
Due to many requests from various women, Carol has recently added to her range with ladies summer breeze style dresses with a short sleeve.
They are midcalf length, have a cool side scoop and large patch pockets. The dresses are made in cotton, are beautifully finished and available at great prices.
On Saturday there will be an additional pre-Christmas sale rack of dresses and overalls marked right down.
Carol’s clothes are the perfect addition to any summer wardrobe.
On Saturday, come and do your regular shop for real honey, fresh vegetables, avocados, macadamias, delicious homemade jams, marmalades and pickles, free range eggs and don’t forget that delicious pasture raised pork – old breed pigs with their diet enhanced with added protein with whey from our local cheesemaker and fresh vegetables.
If you’re looking for the best Christmas ham you’ll ever have, order now as orders are filling fast. Come and place a deposit and The Edible Forest will put one aside for you.
Bec will have her seedlings, flowers and vegies ready for your planting and she can give you advice on plants and pests and can give you advice on what to do without using chemicals.
At any of our stalls you could find the answer to any of your Christmas gifts - gifts that are useful, practical or just plain delicious.
Have a coffee, something yum to eat, while you listen to music from some of our wonderful local musicians.
If you have any excess produce but not enough set up your own stall, you can drop it at the community stall to be sold on your behalf.
There is more information online on the Wingham Farmers’ Market Facebook page.
Don’t forget if you have you’d like to sell at the markets, new stallholders are always welcome. Direct stall holder enquiries to Annette on 6550 7213.
