The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are flying into the central western city, where the drought is biting hard.
They took off from a rainy Sydney just after 9.30am. Meghan appeared to be wearing black skinny pants as she boarded the RAAF plane.
There's a chance they some rainy UK weather for Dubbo but so far it's cloudy with a few showers. But in true Australian style, there are plenty of flies about.
The royal couple will spend their day in Dubbo visiting the local Royal Flying Doctor Service base, a drought-stricken farm and a local school.
They will also meet Dubbo residents for a community picnic at a park in the regional city.
Despite most of the area being in the middle of one of the worst droughts NSW has seen, rain is forecast for most of Wednesday.
They had a perfect start to their 16-day visit to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand in Sydney on Tuesday.
Thousands waited for hours to meet them on the Opera House forecourt, after they visited Taronga Zoo, watched a rehearsal of the Bangarra dance company.
The sun shone and they beamed after the news that they were expecting their first baby in the northern spring was released.
Meghan chatted with guests about children at an afternoon reception hosted by Governor-General Sir Peter Cosgrove, saying she and Harry "couldn't wait to join the club".
They scored the baby's first presents too - baby ugg boots, stuffed koala and kangaroo with a joey. They'll likely receive more presents in Dubbo on Wednesday.
One woman spent the night knitting a pair of booties in the style of RM Williams boots.
It's yet to be seen if they will be wearing their wedding gifts, custom-made Akubra hats, that Sir Peter presented to them on Tuesday.
But Kensington Palace tweet a photograph of the hats with the caption "Dubbo, we're coming to see you..."
The Dubbo stop is part of a jam-packed schedule of 76 engagements across 16 days with the royals visiting Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland's Fraser Island as well as Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand.
