A stroke round was played by the ladies for the Katrina Greenaway trophy, also the Medal of Medals was played for between the winners throughout the year which Denise Polley wa.Woottons the winner. The winner of Katrina's trophy was Jean Sayers with 73 nett. Division 1 Denise Polley 75, Division 2 Beth Braham 80c/b, R/up Cheryl Andrews 80c/b, Division 3 Sue McKenna 75c/b.
The putting was won by Janice Surtees 27, Pat Marcus 31, Jean Sayers 32, ball winners B. Tonkin, P. Whiteley, D. Stewart, C. Gates, T. Wootton, B. Hodgson, K. Greenaway, K. Lane, B. Bisby, N. Smith.
Wednesday October 10
Veterans golf was sponsored by McDonald's Taree. The winner of the hamburger was Bill Osborne with 41 points. Next was Alex Kees 40c/b, Ashley Stewart 40c/b.
Winners of the NTPs were Richard Lucas on the 3rd/12th, and on the 7th/16th Tom Hadwell.
The ambrose has started with 19 players, the winners were No Collars captained by James Urquhart, followed by Family Ties Shane Ellem. No handicap is needed to come and play in this event.
Thursday October 11
The LJ Hooker Chook Run was won by Dave Stackpool with 23 points. Next was Brenden Walker 22, John Thorburn 19c/b, Jamie Berry 19c/b, Tim Smith 19. Dennis Bloomfield was the winner of the nearest the pin on the third, Phil Nelson on the seventh .
Friday October 12
The Friday ladies played a stableford and the winner was Deb Stewart with 24 points, r/up Janice Surtees 18, balls Robyn Dudgeon, Pat Marcus, Noelene Nelson was the winner of the NTP.
Friday ambrose was won by the team Glenrowan ( Rohan Abbott/Glen Thorburn), followed by Craigo (A. Kees/C. Hamilton). No handicap needed for this comp so come enjoy yourself in one of these ambroses.
Saturday October 13
The Annual Lefties versus Righties comp was held sponsored by the worst leftie around, John Hynes, winning back his trophy. The overall winners were James Urquhart and Aaron Hendry, Next was Nev Blanch, Gary Considine, and Glenn Bowman, Brenden Walker and Phil Hanlen.
There were 14 players paying their annual visit to Wingham from Fredrickton and having a great time with the winners being twins Wayne and Gary Hudson. The Sharp shooters winning the NTP on the 1st/10th Wingham Plaza Butchers Rod Michelson 0.29, 3rd/12th Wingham Remedial Massage Gary Croucher, Potty's Pies 4th/13th Adam Beattie, 7th/16th Bayveiw Seafood Rex White, 9th/18th Brian Roberts.
