Wingham under 12s traveled to Bulahdelah for the opening round of junior cricket on Saturday.

Wingham won the toss and sent Bulahdelah in to bat.
Ryan Hughes opened the bowling and had a great spell with figures of 2-5 after three overs with Riley Lane claiming his first wicket of the season finishing with 1-10 after three overs.
Cae Allan, Callum Taylor and Mason Staff all bowled well to keep their bowling figures also under 10 runs.
At the end of the innings Bulahdelah were 3-121.
Drew Gosper and Bailey Timmins opened the batting and were looking settled until a good ball got through the defence of Drew. Lachlan Dawson, Riley Lane and Ryan Hughes continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over for Wingham but Bulahdelah made the most of their chances and were holding their catches.
Wingham were all out for 95.
Top scores were Drew Gosper 11 , Ryan Hughes 11 , Lachlan Dawson 8.
